Thermostat for wall heater?

Qusetions: This is often a random query but I just moved into military housing and then the warmth is wall mounted and features a thermostat. I cannot for that lifestyle of me figure it out. Does anybody know ways to perform the thermostat for any floor heater? Lol thank you
